Week 170 Wrap Up

Alright everypony, listen up! It's time to put out an all-points bulletin, because several criminals have broken out of the Ponyville jail. That's right, ponies, we've got a number of escapees on the loose! Flathoof, get the officers downstairs out on the street, and start searching for the escapees! Whirly Bird, go get Silver Eagle, then fly up above the town and keep an eye out for a reported escapee in a hot air balloon. Chevron, call Sheriff Silverstar in Appleloosa and inform him of the escaped cattle rustlers who may be heading his way, so he can warn the cattle. And Copper Casing, go check out the river next to town. And do it carefully, there's been a report of an escapee heading down the river on the back of a shark... with eye beams. I know it sounds crazy, but we all thought that old 'bugs turning into ponies' report was crazy too.

Oh, and we've got images of some of the escapees, which will be invaluable in recapturing them. Show these around to the townsponies, and we should have these miscreants back in jail in no time!

Week 169 Wrap Up

Caring about others is a central theme to the world of ponies. Princess Celestia herself cares about her fellow ponies so much, that she will go to great lengths to protect them. This caring was put to the test when her own sister was corrupted into Nightmare Moon, and put all of ponydom in danger by attempting to create eternal night. Fortunately, Celestia found a way to defeat Nightmare Moon without actually killing her, by magically binding her within the moon itself. This saved everypony else from the food-shortages that eternal night would bring, while also allowing Celestia to eventually reunite with the sister she cared so deeply for.

Of course, Princess Celestia isn't the only pony that deeply cares for others. Both Princess Cadance and Fluttershy have shown a lot of caring and affection for ponies in general, as have the generous Rarity and smile-loving Pinkie Pie. Even those who are often a bit self-absorbed *cough, Rainbow Dash, cough* often end up being sensitive to the needs of their friends.

But I think I've rattled on about this long enough; wouldn't want to talk off a person's (or pony's) sensitive ears after all. So instead, I shall now direct you to the pictures that our wonderful, caring artists have created this week:

Well, I don't know why I came here tonight.
I got the feeling that something ain't right.
I'm so scared in case I fall off my chair,
and I'm wondering how I'll get down those stairs.

Oh, hello there. I'm glad to see you made it here, as traffic has been horrendous today. Nopony likes getting stuck in traffic, after all. Unfortunately, getting stuck in things is exactly what many ponies have been doing this week. Whether trapped in a box, stuck inside during a storm, or caught on a branch like a treed squirrel, these ponies... could probably use some help, really. So let's go see what sorts of sticky situations we can sort out here!
