Week 179 Wrap Up

Have you ever gotten angry at something? Like, really angry? Red-faced, blood-boiling, steam-coming-out-of-your-ears enraged? So angry that you feel like you're gonna burst into flames?

Everyone feel a little hot under the collar now and then. Sometimes, more than just 'a bit'. It always helps to have a means of calming ourselves down for such occasions, ways to cool off when we feel like we're gonna self-immolate. One way is to look at fanart of settings we enjoy, like the pony-themed art below. Which happens to feature several ponies bursting into flames.

Week 178 Wrap Up

Oh... sure... um... ask the Pegasus to write up the info on the subject of keeping your hooves on the ground.  I mean um... I guess it's good to walk about on the ground from time to time, right? I'm sure there's a few reasons...

I mean... walking on the ground IS the best way to see the beautiful snow up close this time of year... I know not everypony likes the snow, but I do. And I've learned in the past that seeing things from the ground can give you a whole new perspective... you know, even for ponies on the ground. Have you ever taken a moment to just look where you are?

Keeping on the ground can also mean staying sane, keeping things together, and moving ahead in full confidence of yourself. Strength. Stability. Endurance. Keeping yourself grounded is a key to setting reasonable goals, and to taking the steps necessary to complete them. It's a successful pony who can stay grounded and keep the task at hoof in mind.

So, with a steady hoof, and a solid foundation, we shall forge ahead!  Now then, let's see what everypony is doing this week now that we've got all four hooves planted firmly, and safely, on the ground:

Week 177 Wrap Up

This has been a week for those who can take to the skies whenever they wish! A celebration for the pegasi, for the gryphons, for the airship pilots, and for all others who are not bound to the ground! A time to cheer for everypony who does not spend their lives toiling away within a tiny cubicle!

Hmm. Is it stuffy in here, or is it just me?

But at any rate, how great would it be to be able to take wing and fly away from all your troubles. To feel the wind on your face, as you soar above the clouds. To not be stuck in this little room all day...

Jealous? No, no, I'm not the slightest bit jealous of them. Not the slightest bit...

Under the sea!
Under the sea!
Darling, it's better down where...

Oops, wrong merfolk song.

The oceans are a mysterious realm, and many a sailor can tell a variety of tales about what one may encounter out there. Some of them might even be true. But the realms beneath the waves are far more mysterious than the surface, a place where few dare tread for a very simple reason: we can't breathe down there! Or at least, not without specialized gear.

The oceans of Equestria aren't much different from our own, undersea realms of danger and mystery that can't be visited without specialized gear, or perhaps magic. But intelligent life can be found on the ocean floor, flitting along the coral reefs and exploring deep trenches. And recently a small number of expert divers have traveled to these exotic locales to take photographs of these aquatic equines known simply as the seaponies. And here's a selection of the pictures they've brought back, along with a couple of photos of the divers and sailors themselves:

Week 175 Wrap Up

Darkness creeps across the land,
The midnight hour close at hand.
Ponies walk about the town,
Seeking sweets to guzzle down.

It is the time for monsters and witches, for demons and dragons. A time when werewolves howl at the moon even as witches fly across it. A time when ghosts and ghouls go on the prowl, and reapers answer the doorbell.
