Week 220 Wrap Up

Ugh... Things have been so tiring as of late. All this stuff with spacefarers and special pilots and 'parsecs' has made a mess of our art supply... err, supply lines. We've got all sorts of pencils and markers and sheets of paper that need to be sorted out, and we've got the opening of the new gallery tonight to boot!

Oh, right. The new gallery! This is what you're all here for, after all; not to listen to the griping of an overworked staffer who's probably dragging this "Ham Salad" gag out too far. *clears throat*

*coughs* Sorry about that. I should probably stop calling that guy on Sundays. But enough of that interruption. Come in, come in, everypony! Indeed, 'coming in' is the theme of the week. "What goes up must come down", and all that, and the spacefaring ponies that blasted off last week are now returning to Equestria. So feel free to join us here to watch the spectacle of their descent, but do be mindful of the landing area. Spacecraft aren't exactly known for slow descents, after all.

Week 217 Wrap Up

Another week's gone by, and now I've gotta write the blog post again. Another blog post, another set of pictures to show, another set of viewers to show them to. I'm getting too old for this...

Umm, never mind that. At my age, you sometimes forget that thinking isn't supposed to be 'out loud'. And that boots are made for walking, not eating. And that 'fresh' doesn't mean what it used to. And that your toupee goes on your head, not your rump. And that it isn't good to ramble on and on and on... err, like I'm doing.

Week 216 Wrap Up

Alright, everypony. It's time for the Cosplay Photoshoot. Make sure your costumes are all set and that you're ready to go; we don't want somepony to lose their pants on stage! Again...

So many wonderful costumes on display this time around, I see. And such variety as well! Video game heroes, literary characters, armored ponies, fursuits... everypony has really outdone themselves! Just be careful with the prop weapons, for those of you who brought them. Last year, somepony managed to accidentally sever another pony's belt with their supposedly blunt sword. Like I said, we don't want anypony losing their pants on stage again. Or worse.

But I'm probably worrying too much, so I think it's time to step aside and let the photographing commence!

... Yes, I did go for the blatantly obvious joke already. I've been at BronyCon all weekend, and thus didn't exactly get a lot of sleep. But it was so much fun! Great panels, great staff, great costumes on display, and of course, great music! DJ Pon3 would readily approve!

At any rate, I'll need to keep it short this week, as I gotta keep an eye on things here. Parties can get out of hoof right fast if you don't have somepony monitoring the chaotic event. Feel free to go hit the dance floor, like the ponies below are doing. The more the merrier, after all!

Here now, what's all this then? What are all these ponies doing here, running about like some great Caucus Race. Why, it's enough to drive a pony completely batty! Seriously, who's responsible for this ruckus, a dodo?

Actually, I probably shouldn't say such things. In this magical world, dodos could very well still be alive. And sentient.

But yes, there's so much racing around going on here that it's a wonder we've not all been engulfed by a giant dust cloud by now. It has been known to happen after all, especially during the Running of the Leaves and similar long races. So, let's take a gander at the pictures produces this past week, while we still can!
