Yeah, that attempted variation of a certain song didn't really work. Well, as they say, "When at first you don't succeed, smash, smash again!" Or something like that; I think the 'they' in this case would be the yaks. They certainly do like their smashing. And so did our artists this week. Week 312 Wrap Up

Aaah!! The sky is falling! The sky is falling! It's already hitting the clouds and sending bits of them tumbling to the ground! That's what all these white things are; bits of clouds broken up by the falling sky! We all gotta get underground fast! Quick, into whatever storm cellar, bunker, cavern, or underground vault you can find! Otherwise, we'll all be crushed when the sky hits the ground! We gotta hurry, this stuff is already starting to coat the ground like, umm... like snow. It's just snowing, isn't it.

Okay, maybe taking that bet about drinking a dozen double espressos wasn't such a good idea, even if I did get a dozen bits out of it. I've been freaking out about things all day, and it only seems to be getting worse. I'd better just open up the Gallery and be done with it before my brain goes off-kilter again.

Hey, wait a minute. Why is it snowing? This isn't Horstralia, for Celestia's sake; it's nearly the start of Summer here! Did the pegasi make a scheduling error? Could there be some issue with the clouds, causing them to snow out of season? Like something pushing on them from above, perhaps... oh no, it is happening after all! Week 311 Wrap Up

To be practical, or not to be practical. That is the question! It is a question that many fashion designers have often struggled with; how much weight should function carry relative to form? Should one design a supremely flashy outfit that would be worn only rarely due to how awkward it is to move around in, or go with something easier to wear but potentially less flashy? Or perhaps something in between, as one is not limited to either extreme here.

And it's not just clothiers that need to make such decisions. For example, should a hungry pony take the time necessary to prepare a three course meal, or go with a simple sandwich that will end satisfy their hunger quickly? Should the blog writer create a short novel's worth of words or stick with something that won't take several hours to read?

In my case, I think the latter is the better option. So, without further ado, I shall open up the Gallery for you all. In the words of Photo Finish: "We go!"

Week 310 Wrap Up

To ship or not to ship, that is the question! And in this fandom, the answer is usually 'to ship'. And that's really not surprising, given the creative nature of this fandom, and the role of the internet in the average fan's life. After all, a fan-made item purchased over the 'net cannot typically be picked up in person given the global nature of the fandom, and must instead be sent via snailmail.

Oh, you thought I was talking about the other type of shipping? Well, that does apply here to, I must admit. Week 309 Wrap Up

Well, it's that time again. I don't want to overdo it with the speeches tonight, so I'm just gonna open up the Gallery right here and now. Enjoy!

Hmm. Actually, I think that's going to far in the other direction; one can overdo it on keeping things short too. Balance is not always an easy thing to find, but it is a good thing to strive fore nonetheless.

At any rate, now would be the right time to bring this to a close, I think. So feel free to wander the Gallery, and take a gander at all the ponies who are overdoing it in some act or another. Just don't overdo the gandering; you don't want to strain your eyes, after all.

Week 308 Wrap Up

Growing older is a normal part of life, and a mandatory one at that. Well, effectively mandatory. While it is technically true that powerful magic can reverse the aging process, it is rare indeed for a pony to be able to handle such powers. As such, aging remains inevitable for all but a very rare few.

However, though growing old may be mandatory, growing up is optional! But even as many ponies hold on to elements of their foalhood, their ever-growing collection of experiences will add up to a steady growth of wisdom and maturity. So let's open up the Gallery this evening, and see the newest creations of those who continue to grow as artists!

Week 307 Wrap Up

Ponyville is a dangerous place. Giant star bears, rampaging dragons, and demonic centaurs can all cause considerable damage to the town's infrastructure. Not to mention the various powerful unicorns living here that don't always have control over their magic. Needless to say the local construction crews have their hooves full keeping the town from steadily transforming into a field of collapsed buildings, and they've become quite the experts in their field.

But even the most experienced of builders doesn't know everything there is to know about construction, so you gotta make sure you get the right ponies for the job you need done. And having such experts working on your project will make the process much easier, and greatly increase the chances of success!

In that spirit, tonight's gallery is focused on these veteran workers. For such expertise deserves to be celebrated!
