Week 292 Wrap Up

HALT! WHO GOES TH- gaah! This Luna Voice Modulator thing is hurting my ears. Yeah, let's pass on that device, since it's likely painful to others as well.

At any rate, this week's theme has been royalty, and the commanding presence they have. Or maybe just the commands they give, as not all of the royals have a truly commanding presence. Just look at that oversized fop Blueblood, for example. Indeed, he's really the only example of that, as the rest of the prominent royal ponies have a truly commanding presence, one gained through the kind of respect Blueblood will likely never earn.

But I digress. So, without further ado, let's open up the gallery for this evening. This I command!

Week 291 Wrap Up

*yawn* Ever been up late? Like, really late? I mean late enough that you're so overtired you can't actually fall asleep? Yeah, that late. I was up that late last night. Such nights can have quite the negative impact on your brain. You can't make decisions quickly, have trouble remembering things, and you can also lose track... of... uhh...

Dangit, I lost track of where I was going with that line of thought. Oh well, enough of that. We do still have a gallery to run, after all. A gallery full of... pictures of... *yawn* What was our theme this week, again? Oh right, ponies being up too late. I'd have an easier time remembering that if I wasn't up too late last night.

Well, I'm going to go ahead and officially open the gallery up now, before I zone out again. So feel free to take a walk through and peruse... um, peruse... umm...

Week 290 Wrap Up

Snow. Either you love it or you hate it; there never seems to be a middle ground when this frozen white stuff starts hitting the ground. Well for whatever it's worth, I'm inclined to like it. But whichever side one may be on, one thing does remain true: Snow is cold and wet.

But it is also the theme for this week's gallery, so that is one good thing about it, at least. If only because those who dislike snow can get out of the real stuff by coming into the much warmer gallery to see pictures of it instead. So come in, everypony! It's warm and inviting in here, and full of pictures to boot! And of course we can't forget the best thing about this gallery:

Week 289 Wrap Up

This year I resolve to write only a single sentence for each of these Blogger entries. There, Blogger done!

...and that was a second line, so I've broken my resolution already. Oh well.

But at least I'm not the only one who made some resolutions this week. Indeed, that's what the gallery's theme for the week is: New Year's Resolutions. So the gallery is full of pictures of ponies making resolutions, holding to resolutions, and... well, not holding to resolutions. So feel free to have a look around! Perhaps in the process, you'll find an idea or two for your own new resolutions.

Week 288 Wrap Up

Okay everypony, back it up! We've got royalty on the way, and they're gonna arrive... err, well actually, I don't know when they'll arrive. But we need to keep this area clear for when they do! So like I said, back it up, everypony! We need to get this area cordoned off...

Wait, what was that, boss? 'Ponies Kissing'? Oh, I thought you said 'Princess Crossing'. Oh, uhhh... well, carry on then, everypony. Oh, and don't worry about tonight's gallery exhibit. It was fully set up before I started trying to clear space for princesses... that weren't actually coming. And who knows? Maybe a Princess will visit our little gallery tonight! I do hope so; I gotta do something with these Princess Crossing signs I bought. All one hundred of them.

Well, it could be worse. At least I don't need to figure out what to do with one hundred nosehair trimmers like that other pony did.

Week 287 Wrap Up

'Twas the night before Hearth's Warming and all through the town,
Not a creature was stirring 'cept a cat with some yarn.
The morrals were hung by the chimney with care,
In hopes that Father Nutmeg soon would be there.
The foals were all nestled all snug in their beds,
As dear Luna kept watch o'er the dreams in their heads.

Stories are a grand thing, are they not? They entertain and enlighten the populace, and can bring history to life in a manner that your typical school history book could never hope to match. And especially over the holidays, they bring peace and harmony to the ponies of Equestria. So perhaps tonight we'll all have the chance to curl up with a good book, or share a story with our families, and enjoy some classic holiday tales.

Week 286 Wrap Up

Ever have one of those days? Not one of those days where you can't seem to do anything right, but rather one where your coworkers can't? One involving numerous loud bangs, lots of cleaning supplies getting used, and repeated calls of, "No, your other left!", due to everypony being careless? Yeah, it's been one of those days.

Fortunately, the coworkers in question are the ones from my day job, and not the Gallery staff. The exhibit is fully set up and ready for our guests, with nothing damaged, discolored, or sitting off-balance, ready to fall over. So feel free to enter and take a look at tonight's offerings, which center around other ponies who are suffering a deficit of carefulness and/or balance. It's a lot less painful than the real thing, after all.
