Week 288 Wrap Up

Okay everypony, back it up! We've got royalty on the way, and they're gonna arrive... err, well actually, I don't know when they'll arrive. But we need to keep this area clear for when they do! So like I said, back it up, everypony! We need to get this area cordoned off...

Wait, what was that, boss? 'Ponies Kissing'? Oh, I thought you said 'Princess Crossing'. Oh, uhhh... well, carry on then, everypony. Oh, and don't worry about tonight's gallery exhibit. It was fully set up before I started trying to clear space for princesses... that weren't actually coming. And who knows? Maybe a Princess will visit our little gallery tonight! I do hope so; I gotta do something with these Princess Crossing signs I bought. All one hundred of them.

Well, it could be worse. At least I don't need to figure out what to do with one hundred nosehair trimmers like that other pony did.

Week 287 Wrap Up

'Twas the night before Hearth's Warming and all through the town,
Not a creature was stirring 'cept a cat with some yarn.
The morrals were hung by the chimney with care,
In hopes that Father Nutmeg soon would be there.
The foals were all nestled all snug in their beds,
As dear Luna kept watch o'er the dreams in their heads.

Stories are a grand thing, are they not? They entertain and enlighten the populace, and can bring history to life in a manner that your typical school history book could never hope to match. And especially over the holidays, they bring peace and harmony to the ponies of Equestria. So perhaps tonight we'll all have the chance to curl up with a good book, or share a story with our families, and enjoy some classic holiday tales.

Week 286 Wrap Up

Ever have one of those days? Not one of those days where you can't seem to do anything right, but rather one where your coworkers can't? One involving numerous loud bangs, lots of cleaning supplies getting used, and repeated calls of, "No, your other left!", due to everypony being careless? Yeah, it's been one of those days.

Fortunately, the coworkers in question are the ones from my day job, and not the Gallery staff. The exhibit is fully set up and ready for our guests, with nothing damaged, discolored, or sitting off-balance, ready to fall over. So feel free to enter and take a look at tonight's offerings, which center around other ponies who are suffering a deficit of carefulness and/or balance. It's a lot less painful than the real thing, after all.

Joy to the world, the Moon has come! ...wait, is that right?

Well, music isn't the focus of this gallery anyways. This gallery is focused, as usual, on the visual arts. And we've got some very good pictures for you today. Because that is this week's theme: Ponies Doing Good! See what I did there? Now that's what I call a... well actually, calling that a 'good' pun is probably being overly charitable. But it was a pun, nonetheless.

But yes, ponies doing good and being charitable is the theme for this week. Which admittedly is rather normal behavior for many ponies. But good behavior should be celebrated regardless of how commonplace it may be, wouldn't you agree?

Why am I swearing so much, you ask? Oh that's not swearing. I'm just practicing my Q-Bertian. But enough of that, for we have a gallery to open! And I am quite happy to do so.

And yes, it may seem odd for me to be happy given the theme for tonight's gallery, but I can't help but be excited for each opening! Even when said opening is for an anger-themed exhibit. Besides, how would we attract a crowd in here with an angry frontman?

Week 282 Wrap Up

Good evening, Ladies and Germs...uhh, okay. Who wrote this?

Err, nevermind! Tonight is a night for elegance, which that first line certainly is not. But do you know who is elegant? Princess Celestia! She's so noble and regal and pearlescent and nice and tall and shimmery and kind and... err, perhaps I should stop fawning over her before this gets any more embarrassing.

Besides, elegance is certainly not limited to her. Just look at her sister Princess Luna, or at Rarity. Fancy Pants and Fleur de Lis make quite the elegant pair as well, and then we've also got... wait, is that Prince Blueblood? Ugh... there's no elegance to be found there, just a whole lotta self-conceit.

At any rate, it's time for me to bring this little speech to a close. But if you've not yet gotten your fill of elegance, feel free to take a look at all the portraits of Lords and Ladies in the gallery tonight. It is truly the most elegant thing outside of Canterlot itself!
